Viktor Mikhailovich Glushkov was one of the founding fathers of information technologies in Ukraine, a genius who was ahead of his time. He is remembered in the history of Soviet IT as the author of digital automation theory, the creator of multi-processor multi-pipeline supercomputers, and the founder of the Institute of Cybernetics of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
